A very enjoyable read. In addition to being a wonderful insight into Bumblebees, due to being a little old fashioned, it makes you feel like a historic ecologist. If reading this in an academic setting though, should probably check anything you are citing with a more recent text. That said, this is a great way to get access to information from papers that you may have trouble acquiring.
