The story started out as promising. I enjoyed reading how Tiffani and Kyle navigated through their respective careers while making a love match.
However, it was very difficult to ignore the injustices that went unpunished. Two young men died due to bullying and pranks; a father was senselessly murdered. Both father and son were guilty. What about Ashley? Where was her karma?
They used their privilege to bypass justice. While Kyle may have been a reckless youth how could the families simply forgive? It didn’t feel right. How did Tiffani expect her family to welcome Kyle so easily. While he had no involvement with the death of Tiffani’s father, it didn’t make sense to me how eager Tiffani was to seek forgiveness for him. All these families suffered tragic loss and trauma. For it to be “forgiven” seemed disrespectful

I liked Kyle and Tiffani, but this book was frustrating as hell. Keiko and Ashley were both psychos and had to much control over trying to destroy his relationship with Turf, and as a former Navy Seal and Secret Service Security he was off his game, which irritated me. Tiff was too back and forth with her feelings and then her trust in him. Long story short, this could have been better. And it needed editing. I'm glad they got their HEA, and Tiff's mom and brother were there to support them.
I have to say, although the flow and the chemistry of this book is good. I felt that There was just something about the main characters that made me want to just really slap a couple of them. But all in all, this would make a good weekend starter.
I’m actually looking forward to seeing what’s next.

If you're someone that loves over dramatic books then you'll like this one. I enjoyed the plot but not ALL of the Drama. I love that it's about love transcending all but there was a whole bunch to over come.
