Poetry is something that is often forced on us in school before we are ready for it. Poems like these are the reason everyone should revisit poetry as an adult.

There is yearning here, and mourning, and hope. I will return to these words again and again, having had different life experiences, and I am sure I will find something new.

E-Doyle-Gillespie is simply a superlative poet. My advice is to find out where he is doing a live reading and go. Every poem he writes rests somewhere between your throat and heart.
