Humorous look at many of the Texas legends and "common wisdom." The book was published in 1987, so some of the information is dated. Example, the author states that Ma Ferguson was the only woman to be governor of Texas. Ann Richards was elected in 1990.

The information seems to be correct and it is a fun read.
