D20Quest - Basic

D20Quest is a d20 adaptation of the Openquest third edition System Resource Document, intended to emulate in d20 the goals of Openquest's tale on the BRP d100 easy to learn, compact, fast-paced adventure role play, open for the community. This basic version includes the Openquest SRD stripped to its Character creation, combat, simplified casting, vehicle rules, hazards, and more, condensed into a 32 page, 5.06x7.81 pocket page size document for rapid pick up and play. It is readily compatible with supplements designed for Openquest and similar d100 systems and our own Hexploratores supplements. We have included an expanded file containing the Openquest SRD spell lists converted for use with this system. The preview contains only the 29 page file, but the SRD spells are freely available on the Openquest SRD websiteand are easily adapted without these files. As a bonus, the current version of the alpha Advanced version of D20Quest is included - this version seeks to add new content not originally contemplated by Openquest. D20Quest Basic is relicensed under the CC-BY 4.0 and ORC licenses (with separate but identical files for each), and may be borrowed from freely for your own adaptations, subject to the attribution requirements of each license.
