A successful real estate tycoon reunites with his long-lost brother who's homeless and living in the tunnels of the New York subway system. Moses and Isaac Remington fraternal twins dreamt of having their own real estate business as kids. Instead, it was filled with jealousy, envy, and hate from the past. Moses and Isaac reconciled their differences. They realized who caused their broken bond. It was their stepfather who came into their lives, turning everything upside down. Finally, Moses and Isaac got rid of this man with the help of their mother who also suffered from this man's lies, abuse, and cheating. Now, the brothers made their dreams became a reality. They sold luxury properties and also provided homes for the homeless.

The book has an interesting premise, but there were a few things that kept me from fully enjoying it. For example, when the protagonist uncovers a key clue to the mystery, it feels rushed. The emotional impact of the discovery gets glossed over in just a few sentences, and I was left wanting more depth and detail. Then in Chapter Seven, there’s a backstory for a minor character that drags on for several pages without really adding much to the plot. This kind of uneven pacing made the story feel a bit disjointed, with important moments feeling underdeveloped and less significant ones taking up too much space.
That said, the core of the story is engaging. The mystery surrounding long-hidden secrets is interesting, and the dialogue is sharp. The characters' interactions kept me interested, and I genuinely wanted to keep reading to find out what happens next.
I do think the book could benefit from more consistent pacing overall. The large first letters that pop up throughout the book were also a bit distracting—they disrupted the flow for me. While the ideas are solid, the execution doesn’t always hit the mark due to these mechanical distractions and the pacing issues.
All in all, the book has a lot of potential, especially in terms of its storyline. But the combination of rushed key moments and overly drawn-out minor details creates some imbalance that affects the reading experience, for me, anyway. With some tighter editing, it could be much stronger.

Heartbreaking but the ending’s worth it
This book follows the story of twins, one talented in everything, and the other, constantly getting in his own way. This book really shows the dynamics between siblings and having parents that aren’t fully invested in all but one. Seeing how contrasted their lives ended up was an interesting journey, but seeing Isaac’s thought process broke my heart. No one should feel as worthless as people, made him feel. Or even bled over into his thoughts, and he’d tear himself down, hindering his ability to fully live his life.
My only complaints is there was a LOT of repetitive telling and not showing, and transitions between moments, scenes, and paragraphs were nearly nonexistent, making the flow and pacing of this book almost jarring at points. That being said, it was interesting to read a different style such as this, but I wasn’t too much of a fan. The dialogue also felt stiff at points and I found myself a little lost in the writing at times.
All in all, I love the happy ending, it made the struggles the boys went through worth it. It was an enjoyable read, maybe just a bit too dense in places.

Wow! “Many Mansions” by Alexis Soleil was truly one of the most moving books that I have ever had the pleasure to read! The story begins with Moses and Isaac, twin brothers that are always there for each other and would fight anyone who tried to harm the other. As they grew up, they both grew in their separate ways with some differences that were hard to overcome; which I believe most of us that have siblings can understand this feeling, even if not on the same scale that the Remington brothers did throughout the story! Soleil does a remarkable job developing the two brothers throughout the pages to reflect the differences that can make a person when they are brought up in the same humble beginnings, but have different experiences (even if the same event) that shape them.
The style of writing is unique and the point of view goes throughout all characters as the book goes, building the pieces of what is happening for all through the storyline. This is also very powerful to help reiterate the dangers in what our own minds can make up. The insecurities, distrust, and assumptions can always be so dangerous when trying to guess what others feel about you. The power of love, devotion, and family displayed in this book are something that we can all learn from. Soleil also brings it together with them giving back in a way that they have learned from their past experiences. “Many Mansion” is a truly beautiful and inspiring piece of art. The story is about fraternal twins named Moses and Isaac Remington. After getting into a major fight, they end up living entirely different lives. Isaac is an albino who faces a lot of struggles in a society where people treat him like someone displaying a freak show.
Moses used to support his brother at home and school, but over time, he becomes self-centered and blinded with popularity and his bond with Isaac fades away. Their stepfather, Calvin, degrades Isaac's existence, and their mother, Irene, favors Moses more because of him. Isaac, feeling abandoned and neglected, decides to leave their house for good and ends up living behind dumpsters.
It got me emotional at many points and I could feel how Isaac must have struggled being treated as invisible while Moses captured all the spotlight. The author's writing style is praiseworthy, inheriting a richly descriptive and illustrative tone.
Not wrecking the ending anymore; I’d say this book is one of the most heart-touching novels I have ever read. It beautifully portrays the emotions of the characters and the reader is sure to be captivated by the plot.
The novel covers many aspects of our society, and presents many hidden sides of the people surrounding us, making it an exciting yet warming read.

Not wrecking the ending anymore; I’d say this book is one of the most heart-touching novels I have ever read. It beautifully portrays the emotions of the characters and the reader is sure to be captivated by the plot.

If you enjoy reading books that you can’t put down, this is a must read! This book has a very interesting storyline about two brothers who were very close when they were young, but grew apart as they got older due to favoritism from parents, popularity, and more. One brother, Moses, becomes a very successful realtor, and the other brother, Isaac, becomes homeless. They end up reconnecting and discover so much about each other and the events leading up to their current situation. I don’t want to give too much away, but this book is very thought provoking, a tear jerker, and one you won’t want to put down! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great read!

The characters felt so real that I caught myself tearing up throughout the book. I really felt for the twins. Their story broke my heart and healed it at the same time.

It’s raw and honest in a way that hits you and stays with you. I even called my brothers after reading it, just to check in with them. Definitely a must read!
