Franco Moretti, Lost Prince of the Moretti Crime Family, has a secret. One no one knows but the members of the Miami DeLucas he’s closest to. Or so he thought. While investigating who’s trying to pick them off in Chicago one-by-one, he’s realized who he is has been discovered. How and by whom he doesn’t know. All of his answers just may be back in Miami, but right now, even on Paolo’s orders, he can’t bring himself to leave his Raven, the bratty bartender from Club Desire. Before he leaves, she’ll understand why they call him the Brat Tamer.
Raven Lockwood has spent most of her life dreaming about revenge for her parents' murders. Her father's best friend raised her to be an efficient machine. Weapons, hand-to-hand combat, as well as computer hacking, are a part of her arsenal. She'll need all of that and then some since she's finally found the Lost Prince of the Moretti Crime Family. He'll pay for the sins of his father, one way or another. But for now, she'll play her part as Franco Moretti's loyal brat and spend pleasurable nights with him at Club Desire before she's ready to strike and end it all.
There's just one problem, Franco Moretti is not what she expected at all and now he's buried himself in her heart.
Characters in Deepest Fall of Desire ARE NOT connected to any other books in Club Sin: Fall of Desire series.
Any book that involves the DeLucas does not disappoint. I didn't want this book to end. The interaction between Franco and Raven was off the charts. I wanted more fights scenes between Raven and whoever. More information on the Red Barons. I guess I need to reread Paolo, Gino, and Dante's stories for that. I hope there will be more stories to come about the rise of the new and improved Moretti family.
The story was good but for me, it felled towards the end. The build up is on some get back plot but after all of the years investing in it, it just flops. I didn't feel the love or connection between the characters and some details were confusing, such as she had been only working at the club for a few weeks but then her and ol boy had been together for months. But she only met him at the club. Still, it was drama and a lot of action. The h held her own.
Okay, good read but why does it feel incomplete. It went from a fight in Night Shade to epilogue.... Hoping there's a book with more for Franco and Raven as well as the Cartel coming for the DeLucas...
This book was cookin! Raven is one BA Alpha female. She met her match in Franco though. She is the match to his gasoline! They are made for each other. I would like to see where the go as a couple.
A good read but there are areas that have no conclusion. The end felt rushed. 1. Who exactly is also looking for the Lost Prince and why? 2. What happened in Club Night Shade?
