A Sherlock Carol is one of the most fun twists on Sherlock Holmes and Christmas carol. It is a love letter to both classic work while also carving out its own identity. Dr. Timothy Cratchit tasks Sherlock Holmes with solving Ebenezer Scrooges murder, find his missing will, and a priceless gem. This is a fun choice for a Christmas show, it never dips into the realm of idiotic and does Sherlock justice.

Most Christmas plays are dreadful, so hopes were not high, but this one’s not bad. Uses the main characters we all know from A Christmas Carol and the Sherlock Holmes stories. But the casting is what makes it most stage-worthy. Six actors cover all the parts, making it much more interesting.

This play is a mixture of the blue carbuncle and Christmas Carol. It would be fun to see in action.

A very fun and well-written mash-up of two classics. Would love to see it/work on it on stage.
