This is a strange little book. It is a cross between The Shack and the Alchemist. There are little stories that the characters tell that intertwine and a great deal of judgement from these characters. but I guess you would call the book a "thinker" Definitely worth the read, takes but a couple hours. But I feel like it may stay with me longer.

This book was super cute, actually. It really makes a person think.
Hmmm, so everything is handed to you, are handsome, great in bed, rich etc etc etc. Does that make you perfect? I loved this book!
I totally loved the other characters better than the main one. The stories they told reminded me quite a bit of the parables in the Bible. They were supposed to teach lessons, too. However, the main character is blind and stupid, in my opinion. Never did get it.
The reason I'm giving this book a 4 is I hated the ending. I would've loved for the guy to have figured things out, and left a great conclusion... ho hum. Still a good book.

I loved this book. It is compared to a modern day Christmas Carol. I love the wit of the characters and the spiritual perspective. The author is quite the story-teller, with a clever wit and delightful characters. In this book this prideful, worldly man is humbled in a very unique way.

I gave it one star because if I gave it zero, it might have appeared that I don't remember reading this. It stunk.
