Danyelle Scroggins is the Senior Pastor of New Vessels Ministries North, where she preaches, teaches, and admonishes the congregation to live a life according to the Word of God. She is the wife of Pastor Reynard Scroggins and the mother of three: Raiyawna, Dobrielle, and Dwight (DJ) Gatlin. Danyelle has an Associate of Art from Phoenix University, where she studied Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Liberty University in Interdisciplinary Studies of Psychology and Biblical Studies, and an MA in Religious Education.

Brilliant story and definitely hit harder once I learned the author was a pastor. Sensitive themes about Christian LGBT members that wouldn't be believable if not told from a person who'd seen what is hidden from the world. If it had been proofread, I would've rated it 5⭐️.

My Sentiments:

'Secrets, Secret' by this wonderful author gives us a real-life read of what happened to an 'LGBT influencer and queen,' Marcus Darby, who was murdered. Detective Katrina Jacobs, who took on this case along with Detective Regina Owens, worked hard to solve it, and with God's help...they will bring it all out. Well, I will stop there and say you must pick up 'Secret, Secret' and see how well they did with others helping and getting to the end of who had done this horrible deed. I was surprised by one of the people that was guilty. It shows you that one can never tell what is genuinely in one's soul. I especially enjoyed how this author could tie this story together so well; she brought in the biblical aspect of one of the detective's belief in God and how she used it in her daily prayers.

Awesome

I throughly enjoyed this book
It is different from other books Danyelle has written but I enjoy a great mystery and the characters in this story was relatable and real time realistic
Detective Katrina Jacob and her partner
Sgt Regina are badass law enforcement
The fact that they also rely on the Higher Power to guide brings more depth to the story
I highly recommend this series
I am onto book 2

Great Murder Suspense

4.5/5 Murder Suspense with a side of Jesus. This was a very different read from this author and I am here for it. She has mixed murder, lies, deception and faith together to solve a crime. I look forward to reading more mysteries by Katrina Jacobs.
