Before We Held You In Our Arms by Emily Feit is a children's lit story about the struggles to parenthood and the joy of finding holding a baby in their arms. While I have two daughters, I also lost five pregnancies along the way including our son. This is the type of book I could have used to explain pregnancy loss when my daughters were younger. The illustrations are bright and inviting and the story is easy enough for a young reader to comprehend.
