This book was written by medical experts to convey medical information. It is not something that you casually sit down and read cover to cover. Each chapter was written by a different author(s) with their own references at the end. My favorite was chapter 3 which was 12 pages long and had 10 pages of references (109 total references). Yeah, that's the kind of book this was.

That said, there was a lot of good information in it about Tourette Syndrome (TS). It's not a replacement for talking to your doctor or getting in touch with actual support groups if you or a family member has TS, but it's a good place to start to learn more about it.
