This book was short but funny very colorful (in its word choice as much as its images). I loved many of the rhymes chosen but I do wish the longer ones were spread out throughout the book rather than all at the end. I recommend this book for a festive story time. I think it's a wonderful tool for teaching children the concept of form rhymes and slant rhymes (i.e. general and lentil). Overall, wonderfully fun book with dynamic language and creative rhymes/combinations.
I won this book as a Kindle book through a Goodreads giveaway. Since I work at a pasta factory and the title is "Eat Pasta, Run Fasta," I had to read it. It's this author's first book, and the wording is very clever, although it doesn't really rhythm. The author also did all the illustrations in the book, which are great!!!
The concept of this book is cute. However, the poor grammar, poor rhyming, and ad hoc scenarios make it difficult to read. These are very cute illustrations that ultimately give a better context than the writing.
My daughter and I loved the illustrations. We felt some of these illustrations weren't even related with the writing and didn't rhyme. The writing on a few pages were awkward. She lost interest on the reading, she kept going only for the graphics. I won this book on a Goodreads giveaway.
A sweet children’s book that pairs rhyming with eating different foods. This would be great for a picky eater as it makes trying different foods seems fun. The colors and images are beautiful as well.
I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway. This was a really cute book of rhymes. It was also a neat way of introducing various foods, diversities and jobs to your children. My children really enjoyed this book. Thank you for my copy!
A fun read about foods! The illustrations are mostly cute and the rhymes are a stretch (some are great, though!) Overall, its a light book for young children about food, fun and togetherness.
