Beautiful pictures, took me back.

Borrowed this for free from my hotel in the Meteora area. was a nice introduction to Meteora. wish it went a little deeper into the religious iconography found in many of the monestaries, as well as the role of women in the nunneries and in general; but admittedly you could go deep on many other subjects, and then the book could be quite long. it was a nice enough length to read at a leisurely pace during a few nights' stay here.

Good pictures, text is pretty bad. I suspect a poor translating job. Lots of typos. Maybe you're not supposed to read it. :)
