Simply Preaching: A visual guide for preachers

As a preacher and student of preaching, I've drawn a lot of doodles over the years (seriously). Well, I didn't learn to read 'til quite late and still have trouble retaining loads of written information so I 'wrote a book' (it's mainly images) that might help people like me - and indeed, anybody who likes their information distilled. It's a simple idea, really. Each page has a drawing and a one-sentence preaching tip. Things

Content is important but so is delivery (that one involves a cake!)
Everyone has a hobby horse, don't ride yours through every sermon
Don't settle private scores in public sermons (I'm looking at you, Joan!)

In fact, there are over 150 simple tips for beginners and pros alike. We need more and better preaching - I hope this helps us all keep growing.

Far, far better than you might imagine it to be. Err, ok, than I expected it to be. Like the best articles on preaching all rolled into pithy and witty visual and verbal one/two liners. Excellent and empathetic provocation. One to flick through regularly and use as conversion starters with other preachers.

A wonderfully different book on preaching. Through 150 visual illustrations this offers a combination of tips, reminders, advice, encouragement and exhortation. Drawn simply, written with humility and humour this would serve as good gift to your regular preacher, a guide to your novice preacher or and perhaps especially for the visual learner.
