Forrest is back with his own Novella to answer some of our burning questions at the end of the Wyldthorn Academy journey! This was a perfect middle piece to end our journey with Mara and her four mates and introduction to further books in the Scion world!

I loved having a front row seat from our quiet, turns out swears a lot, winter boy. We get to see some old faces like the nightmare king*swoooooon nightmare daddy* and characters from next chapter of scion universe.

This was a quick great read and I loved every second of it.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my journey through wyldthorn and I can’t wait to see more of what L.K Shear brings. I’m completely and utterly obsessed with the world of Scions.

Death is in the Detail by LK Shear 🗡🗡🗡

So I liked this novella. I feel like it tied everything together nicely, and we find out what actually went down. It was nice to see that Forrest and Mara and somewhat found a peaceful ground in their relationship and I really hope that if we see them in the future that the relationship is even better than it was and is thriving along with the others.

However,(it's a good however) what the heck did Forrest get himself into? I think he needs to tell Mara something (obviously not everything) but something. She deserves to know. Also, I feel like I have even more questions that I know will be answered in the future 🩷🩷🩷

It was also a great introduction to Maria and Zain. I can't wait to see what happens with them. I really liked both of them. Their dynamic is a little unusual, but I think that's what drew me in, and I want to know more.

Also love the addition of The Nightmare King... I really hope he gets his own book because I love him so much!!!

This novella was great. It answered lots of questions that I had from the end of Rise of Summer. But! It's like left me with 40 billion others about Jean’s, upcoming books and so I’m mega excited about that.
I love this world, I love the creativity in the details of the characters. I feel like I learn something new about mythology, Olympians and folklore history it’s really engaging. It’s such a in-depth and detailed world. I love it.
I was so thrilled that we finally got some Hot Springs action. If you know the rest of the series, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Be prepared for that. It is perfection! I really enjoyed this book. Great quick read and super awesome. Very excited for the next in this world.

Another great one from LK Shear. I really enjoyed reading more from Forrest prospective. You would need to read the first four books of the Wyldthorn Academy series before reading this one.I absolutely enjoyed the mystery of what is happening. I really love this world. Great new characters in the book as well.

So this book is a short and sweet read. It goes into a little more detail about what happened with Forrest during the big fight with Lightson. This also gives a small insight to Jean's up coming book.

In a spice level I give this book a 3.

I couldnt finnish this one. I got an answer for forrest that had me satisfied but everything after was unrelated to the last books. Its not a bad book it just flows from the last book and then has almost nothing to do with the other characters that ive grown to love so much. I reached Pg54 before DNFing this book.
