For it being a book made in 1987 with some "older traditions," this book was really good. I didn't agree with some of the ways the mothers support reacted to the news....but I guess in the 80's if a man was accused of being a sexual predator, all they had to do was bring him to church and have GOD heal his sins....Really?

Sad read about child abuse. I really liked how it had both the mother's and daughter's point of view.
