Earth: A Love Story

Rate this book
Lyrical, terrifying, pitiless, and unflinchingly honest—Robin Lassiter illuminates the unfathomable mystery of anomalous experience and the genius of the human spirit.
Ralph Blumenthal, author of The Believer

This book is a fusion of what is already all connected, a spiritual and genetic mixing as profound as it gets... In these pages writing becomes a kind of occult practice becomes a kind of healing. The human is here and not here, both watching and suffering. We are not who we are told we are, the author reveals to us. And this all has something to do with death, which is not what we are told, either. Time to wake up. Way up.
Jeffrey J. Kripal, author of The Superhumanities

A journey of becoming fully human

Throughout her life, Robin Lassiter has experienced mystical and otherworldly events including out-of-body journeys, contact with non-human entities, prophetic dreams, and conversations with the dead.

She struggled to maintain a normal life while wrestling with experiences that defy reality. She questioned her place in the world, and her sanity. With unflinching honesty, the author chronicles her descent into substance abuse, depression, and unsafe relationships. This is a harrowing journey through the underworld of self, culminating in a profound and joyous transformation. Brave, beautiful and astonishing, Robin’s book urges us to confront our magical, animate world, and invites us into a wild love affair with life.

First, full disclosure—I helped Robin with the interior layout and cover design. I’m credited on the legal page.

With that out of the way, I need to declare—this is an important book! There are a lot of first-person memoirs of contact experiences, but Robin’s story is rich and personal in a way that I can only describe as beautiful.

There is no filter between the author’s inner self and what’s on every page. This book reads like poetry, and it will touch you at the deepest levels. Highly recommended.
