All the Age of Monsters books were good. Told of apocalypse with many different characters and situations. I got a feeling another story will come. Bring on more monsters.
Book on & 1\2' of 2 gave me nightmares buy only because of age context, eh?! I've had to purposefully shy away from '80s' graphic TV because....sadly, it was too much for me. For once, a novel(la) series captivated me! As usual, captivation turned to dislike as I, by 'Megladons', realized this begins to read like any other screenplay. Zero depth as a novel (unless you are an 'OTTO'!) Then nothing more than gratuitous violence. Story line is hard as heck to follow, until, by end of 3.5th book all you get is a the I is going on?make no mistake, it's not at all difficult to figure out how it all ends because hey, humanoids are STILL around hahaaa Pass y'all unless you are born before. 2010, OK!
This was totally different type of book. I almost put it down. I decided to go ahead and read it. I am glad that I did. It turned out to be a really great book. The author wrote a thrilling book that showed that humans are able to adapt to a changed world after a devastating asteroid strikes the earth. It was heartwarming and scary at the same time! I would recommend this book to everyone. It was very well written. Continuity was great. The story was well thought out and presented beautifully.
