About the author

Sam Taplin grew up in a beautiful valley in Yorkshire, where he dreamed of being a writer, and after three years reading other people's books at university he started writing his own. He's been doing it ever since. When he's not writing about lonely rabbits or inquisitive bears, he likes doing card tricks, writing songs and playing long games of chess by the fire.

I feel like this book is teaching my child to tickle dangerous animals even when being admonished not to. These are not the survival skills he needs when coming across a bear, eagle, wolf, or moose. However, big fan of the end with the musical number mixed with the unattractive cacophony of animal sounds--brings out the big dance moves.

20 month old LOVES this one! She loves to tickle, giggles when the sound goes off, and dances to the music on the last page. Super cute.

Cute book. Love the textures. I don’t like this one as much as the dinosaurs one though. Also, too bad each book in this series are all kind of the same.

Knyga-žaislas patiems mažiausiems. Liečiant galima išgirsti meškos, briedžio, erelio ir vilko garsus.
Tik keistoka, kad sakant "nekutenk meškos" mes vaikui čia pat pakišam knygelę, kurioje siūlome būtent pakutenti mešką - kažkaip nelogiška :)
