Boeing Aircraft Cutaways: The History of Boeing Aircraft Company

Rate this book
It would be idle to try and sum up the whole history of this, the most famous aircraft manufacturer in the world, but suffice to say no less than 38 Boeing models saw service in WWII alone, including of course the Flying Fortress and B-29 Superfortress. In 1927, the first Boeing, the 40A biplane, delivered the US mail, with a range of 650 miles; today the 747-400 can cover 9000 miles at a cruising speed of 615 mph.
