This is a short book that encompasses many different people with different backgrounds and religious upbringing. It is a book that helps to bridge the gaps in between religions and cultures to bring us all together. I appreciated the stories and each persons willingness to write their stories, but I do wish each persons story was a bit longer. Each person wrote about basic information about their background and growing up but I would have liked to hear more about how their religion was important and how it shaped them as a person. Since the point of the book was to broaden the readers horizons about being open to other religions, it would have been important to really connect with the reader and I didn‘t have much of a connection.

This book is a compilation of personal stories of people from different cultures and faith traditions. It contains a myriad of life experiences of diverse individuals, many of whom have interacted with others of different faith and cultures. If you have an interest in learning about other cultures and religions described in simple, easy-to-read descriptions, this would be a great book for you! I personally have an interest in understanding other cultures and interfaith cooperation, so I enjoyed this collection of stories. I received this book as a Goodreads giveaway.

I received this book from a Goodreads giveaway. (Thank you.) In general, the message of this book is Good, but it's something that already kind of fits with my usual way of living. Basically, this book says: 1) it's good for you to be able to get to know people who are different from you, 2) diversity is a strength and is not threatening and 3) people in this world really need to come together if things are going to improve in the future. I didn't find any of the personal stories to be particularly impactful or out of the ordinary.
