Adele is our emotional, strong, and powerful main character, while Jake is our handsome, mysterious lone wolf.
Jake and Adele grew up together. Jake was taken in by Adele's father, where they grew together as childhood friends.
After a horrible night, Jake runs away and leaves Adele alone.
Following years of being separated, Adele moved back into her old home to start a life of her own, with her dog Buddy.
Only for weeks later, Jake arrives at her home.
Adele feels she can't trust him immediately... but shortly after Jake's arrival, disaster struck.
Victor is a man who is power-hungry and ready to spill blood for what he wants, threatens both Adele and Jake in their dreams and real life.
This book is about love, old memories, nightmares, and fear. I highly recommend that if you love books about sexy weremen, action, and a little bit of spice, you read this book!

Do you like Spice? Do you like Lycans? Do you like Witches? Well this is the book for you. Oh man this was absolutely amazing!!! I love this book so so soo much. It is a paranormal, sci-fi Romance. The story is absolutely amazing. Honestly it is so good it should be made into a movie. You will fall in love with the characters. My favorite character is Buddy. Adele's pup. Also Jake who is the MMC. Ugh that man is chef's kiss fine. I loved every minute. And I hope you do to. 10 billion stars.

This gets a 4.5/5 from me. This was a very enjoyable read for me—the action moved the story along really well and the spice was an added plus!

I was immediately drawn in by the fact that this story’s main character is a Native American. Well written and with good pace, action, rekindled relationships with a dash of spice… this story checks all the boxes.
This story follows Adele, a Native American witch, and Jake, a lycan shifter, who have grown up side by side after Adele’s father takes jake in. Tragedy strikes and Jake abandons Adele by running away. Now grown, years later, the two are reunited and determined to see if they can rekindle their friendship… and maybe more *wink wink*.
The nightmares keep you on the edge of your seat and the spice keeps it nice and hot.

Jennifer D Torseth is a very talented writer. She created a world that is full of adventure and strong feelings. I like how Adele grows into her power to fight the evil witch. The story is fast and fun to read. I think this is a great book for romance fans.

This story is very inspiring because it shows that true love always finds a way back home. Adele has to be brave and learn to use her magic to save the man she loves. It reminded me that we are all stronger than we think we are.

I love the relationship between Adele and Jake. Their journey from being best friends to being lovers is very sweet and spicy. It was hard to put this book down because the characters are wonderful.
