The author provides a quick and easily readable text on leadership. It's more of a snapshot providing eight different aspects required for sound leadership. Within each chapter he provides two aspects related to the chapter and than provides 5 bullets to support the particular topic. The eight chapters include; Attitude, Mmentality, Professionalism, Authenticity, Competence, Career Stallers and Stoppers, Personal Development and Mistakes and Mess ups. The author uses his growth in the College Strength and Conditioning ranks and is currently at University of Texas. He pulls from personal experience along the way. While a short text it is very powerful for any individual who is a senior in college, searching for a career or extablished in a career or might be stuck in one. It's also somewhat of a refresher to one who's been in a career. As the writer and others have put it,"if you're not growing you're dying." Keep growing as it's how you improve yourself and others around you. You're journey is only finished if you stop learning. Never stop.

Great depiction on what the field of strength and conditioning actually is and why it is so rewarding.

Good concepts of leadership, simple practical processes. Do simple, better mantra. Must read for any strength/performance coach and any leader of others.
