This book is such a warm read. It gives off 8th grade adventure story vibes. The story revolves around a High Noble Nelvin named Fluttir who comes across a classless Nelvin named Don. In their world, people are separated by class and the classless are the lowest ones in society, that other classes aren't even supposed to talk to them or regard them in any way. But Fluttir and Don spark a unique friendship bound by their interest in music and the great sacrifice Fluttir has to make for his classless friend, Don.

At first I was kind of bored and a little annoyed of how the words "noble" and "noblish" were overused. But I guess it was written that way to further describe how the High Nobles strive to be perfect and not show any "unnoblish" traits.
There was a really great character development for Fluttir, you can really see it as the story progresses. His change was natural, the lingering pride of a highly regarded High Noble transitioning himself into unnoblish things just to save his friend, all of it was great.
I also love that this book points out how humans are so wicked and how capitalism is so damaging to the ones on the lower part of the tier. This book really called us out and it is in us to change for the better.

And also, another takeaway in this story us tyat friendship knows no class, it accepts and a true friend is someone who will stick with you through tough times.❤

I really enjoyed this book. It was interesting to follow and showed some really nice character progression. The book's length is also quite nice. It didn't overstay it's welcome but was really enjoyable.

I've never read anything quite like this. The world building is unique and interesting. Going to hand it off to a friend to explore as well

I read this book years and years ago, when I was about 14 or so and remember really loving it.
