This book made me realize that there are still Presents authors I haven’t read. I did a search through my shelves and this is my first by Fuller. This was a great, emotional read. Angsty at times but honestly could have had more angst since the characters families go way back I was hoping that that would have created more conflict. Overall, I did like Trip and Lily and the fact that they were Americans. She’s a senators daughter. I wish we’d get more settings in HP than London, Greece and Italy.

Reclaimed by a Ring is written by Louisr Fuller and is part of the Mills & Boon Modern Diamond Club mini series.
Trip Winslow has returned to New York and his multi billion dollar empire in New York after experiencing 5 weeks of captivity in Ecuador. He was kidnapped after going there to try to find his father’s mistress. His business advisers tell him that his stock holders have lost faith in him and he needs to bring stability into his life otherwise he won’t regain control of his company. He announced that he is engaged to Lily Dempsey, a senator’s daughter who he was seeing for 2 months before his disastrous trip. Unfortunately they split rather acrimoniously. He gets Lily to agree to a fake engagement/ marriage by kidnapping her. He uses Lucas, her fragile brother, as leverage to blackmail her into cooperating. Slowly the fake engagement feels real but can their relationship survive their insecurities?

I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I thought I would, I really like the author’s books but this one dragged. There was too much dialogue. It would maybe have been better to publish it as a True Love novel as they seem to focus more on dialogue between the characters. Trip and Lilys’ background stories seemed too busy and she didn’t build on them. Trip, for example, had ADHD, was very much the younger spare until his much older brother Charlie died. His mother ignored him and he discovered his “perfect” father had been having an affair. Lily had even brought up under the glare of social media as her father was a Senator. Her looks were crucified and she retreated from public life. Her first love had also taken advantage of her insecurities. None of these themes developed through the book but were just touched upon and never mentioned again. It was a book with a potential and if I hadn’t read several of Fuller’s book I would have though it was great but comparing it to them it was just good but I wouldn’t rush to reread it.

Reclaimed with a Ring by Louise Fuller, book seven in the Diamond Club series, is the story of Trip and Lily. Trip has finally returned from an adventure that went horribly wrong. After being told that he might not keep his seat as CEO because of his reckless behavior, he informs the board of directors that he is engaged. Except, the intended bride has no idea she just became engaged. Trip is tries to convince Lily that marriage to him would be mutually beneficial; hoping that their attraction and chemistry will sway her. Except, Lily is fighting against the feelings she has for Trip; not wanting to feed his large ego. From outward appearances, Trip is the perfect billionaire: wealthy, a romantic player, and a successful CEO. While true, it is his emotionally insecure self, which he denies, that attracts Lily. Trip's behavior towards Lily is controlling, but as they spend more together, he realizes he has deeper feelings for Lily and needs to make amends for his behavior. The passionate attraction sparks their interest, and their emotional commitment grows when they learn to trust each other. An engaging tale of family issues, an adventure in Ecuador, and time is also spent in Italy and England.

Louise Fuller brings us the story of Trip and Lily. Trip has come back from an adventure that went horribly wrong. Upon his return to the company, he makes headlines when he announces his engagement after being told that he may not keep his seat as CEO. The only problems with his announcement are that there is no actual announcement and the intended bride has no idea she just became engaged. When Trip lets Lily know his plan for their engagement, she notices that the reasoning behind it is all about his brand image.

Louise Fuller shares with us their story from The Diamond Club series. We read along as Trip is trying to convince Lily that this marriage would mutually benefit them both and hoping that their attraction will help his cause. Meanwhile, Lily is fighting against the feelings she has for Trip. Who will come out the victor? Will time spent together help or hinder their cause? Read to find out if the proposal will actually turn into a marriage for these two.

I have read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Harlequin - Romance | Harlequin Presents for this privilege.

The author uses a good mix of romantic tropes in this billionaire category romance. From outward appearances, Trip is the quintessential billionaire, wealthy, a romantic player and a successful CEO. While this is true, his more emotionally insecure self, which he denies, attracts Lily. Trip's behaviour towards Lily is controlling, but as they spend more together, he realises he has deeper feelings for Lily and needs to make amends for his behaviour. The passionate attraction sparks their interest, and their emotional commitment grows when they learn to trust each other. I like this story's flawed characters, the romance and the romantic settings.

The blurb for this book is incorrect. Don't know what book it is describing but it is not this one. This was a romance based on a sexual relationship. I skip intimate details in all books. It was an engaging tale of family issues. A bit of adventure in Ecuador. Time is also spent in Italy and England. This added interest to the story. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Presents for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I believe this is part of the Diamond series but it reads well as a stand alone. For me, the title didn't seem to go along with the story. This is a fake engagement that turns to romance. Lily was a bit annoying as she was so hot and cold. Overall, a fun read-I liked all the travel involved. Lots of angst 3.5 stars

A fun enemies to lovers romance. The beginning had Arrow vibes and it was fun to read as Trip and Lily fake an engagement while fighting real feelings. Overall a good book.

Lily Dempsey's passionate connection with tycoon Trip was undeniable, despite her usual guarded nature. After a thrill-seeking expedition leaves Trip presumed dead, he returns weeks later with an engagement announcement to secure his CEO position. Trip is confident he can persuade Lily of the benefits, and their time apart has only intensified their desire. When Lily reluctantly agrees, Trip finds their fake engagement feels real. The author blends romantic tropes in this billionaire romance, highlighting Trip's outward success and hidden insecurities. As they spend more time together, their attraction deepens, leading to genuine emotional commitment and trust.
