This novel became one of the most popular in New Zealand history,
Crump died in 1996 of a suspected aortic aneurysm. At the time of his death he was living at Ohauiti with his fifth wife, Maggie.

Great easy read, fun characters, real true blue Kiwi blokes and their antics. Good laughs

Easy quick Crump book - focuses on two characters and their continual run in with the local traffic cop who is determined to catch them out on their dodgy money making ventures.
