She uses a functional medicine and evidence-based approach to help her to find the root cause (or causes) of her clients' health issues.
She has further clinical experience with a range of conditions including diabetes management, thyroid dysfunction, stress management, hormone imbalances, autoimmune conditions, and weight loss.
Helen regularly attends courses for her continued professional development (CPD), to keep her knowledge and skills up to date with the latest research. These courses are usually related but not limited to the topics of gastrointestinal health, the microbiome, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), hormones, women’s health and hormones, and mental health and wellbeing research.
She has worked as a nutritionist and a cook for retreat companies, whilst also running her own cooking workshops and one-day retreats. Helen has a passion for cooking delicious and healthy food and loves teaching others how to easily incorporate anti-inflammatory foods into their diets. Her mission is to inspire others to ditch heavily processed and junk food and learn the art of cooking from scratch.
