If you think that anger is an automatic reaction you can’t control, then you need to discover the life-changing effects of anger management. You hate to admit it, but parenting isn’t always a bed of roses.

When you get home at the end of a hard day and your kids start screaming, arguing, and refusing to follow their routines, you wish you were alone, lying somewhere on a white sand beach.

And then the guilt sets in. You’re supposed to love parenting every single minute of every day. You’re supposed to be the calm, cool, funny parent who laughs off their kids’ shenanigans like Ryan Reynolds or Emily Blunt do on talk shows.

The truth is, you often feel like a failure, especially when it comes to managing your anger. You feel too ashamed to admit it to friends and family, but you sometimes lose your cool and raise your voice, adding to the glass-shattering volume of screams at home.

Contrary to what they tell you, anger isn’t an enemy it is a powerful parenting tool that can help you and your children get what you want, without stressing your vocal cords.

When anger arises, you have two choices. You can repress it for days, then explode at the slightest trigger… or listen to what it is telling you and find productive ways to manage and express it.

You don’t have to remain in an unproductive cycle of anger. You can turn things around—and that is exactly what Anger Management for Parents is here for. This book seeks to help you understand your anger, so you can finally put an end to unproductive family patterns.

Here’s just a tiny fraction of what you’ll find inside this

I just finished Anger Management for Parents by Emily Giles, and I honestly really needed this book in this season.

Parenting can be so beautiful, but it can also be incredibly triggering and overwhelming. There are moments where I don’t respond the way I want to, and this book helped me feel seen, not judged. It reminded me that struggling with anger doesn’t make you a bad parent, it makes you a human parent who’s learning.

What I loved most was how practical it was. It didn’t just explain anger, it gave real tools to slow down, reflect, and choose a healthier response in the middle of hard moments. I walked away feeling more equipped and encouraged.

Overall, this was such a helpful and grounding read. I would highly recommend it to any parent who wants to grow in patience, emotional control, and deeper connection with their children

Makes sense and very effective.

"Discipline is about teaching rather than punishment and control". I couldn't agree more. Disciplining your child has to come from a cool headed, intentional, and well-meaning place.
