Luce examines the historical context of the Atlantis legend and creates an amalgamation of (circumstantial) evidence that Atlantis was actually Minoan Crete, even though he acknowledges that Plato’s Atlantis story was fiction (with bits of history mixed in). His points are fascinating and explore the geographical and archeological history of Crete and Thera, as well as the volcanic explosion that contributed to the Minoan empire’s downfall and transition to Mycenaean power.
