*ARC review* Plot:5/5 Spice:3.5/5 Trigger warnings: murder, body mutilation, domestic violence, serial harassment, cheating (not the main characters though) miscarriage (mentioned a few times in one chapter, but not in vivid detail) Genre: MC Romance
I read this book in one sitting. I love the way the plot was in the book even though the beginning was a bit chaotic with the time jumps forward and seemed a bit rushed, but the story grabbed me after the first couple chapters. Tate is firey, no bullshit, strong willed FMC who will do about anything to protect those she cares about. Zane is your classic FMC, tough MC fuckboy, with a hint of scared little boy underneath.Over the course of the story his character grows to be more. The first several chapters of the book focuses on their beginnings, and their friend with benefits situation over the course of 7 years. . After Zane realizes that Tate has tangled herself with someone, who hurts her, he does everything he can to protect her from afar, until she makes her ultimate decision to go to Zane. Both of them are equally protective of each other, at first without realizing it, and then once they did they fought their feelings until they couldn't anymore. The story is angst, violent, and heartbreaking, with what the characters had to go through before reaching their HEA (sort of)
This is the first story in the inter-connected series. It has the HEA for Tate and Zane, but the ending has a semi-cliffhanger which I assume will come into play in the next book in the series, even if it's not Tate and Zanes story.

In the last week I have read every one of the midnight syn(1st generation) as well as the damned and demented series( spin off). So going into kiss the sky I really felt like I knew all of the 1st generation and fallen in love with them and their love stories. From reading the blurb I already knew that we were going to Loose 2 beloved characters. What I didn’t know was how heartbreaking it was going to be. Kiss the sky is about Zane ( ash and Caroline’s son) and Tatum. From the moment Zane and Tatum meet when he points a gun at her it’s like a spark was lit and everything around them could be on fire but they wouldn’t know it. The story takes place over several years and even though they are in different places in life as soon as they reconnect each time it’s just like the first. Full of passion and feelings neither one of them are willing to admit to. He will always protect her and the people he loves but what he doesn’t know is she will do anything to protect him even if it’s from himself.
This is my first book by this author. And I am officially hooked with their writing!!
Our MC is Zane and he is the oldest son and stuff was expected from him. However, his parents wanted to make sure he had all the opportunities! But that all changed.
Then we have Tatum who basically ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. And let’s just saw a fun was involved in their first time meeting.
You know when you just know who you’re meant to be with…. This is them. But they go through a lot. They go years without one another. And even swearing to never fall in love with each other- but we all know how that actually goes.
When I tell you this book had me biting my nails, I was biting my nails the whole time. I don’t want to spoil much so I can’t go into detail on a lot of things.
But just know you will not be disappointed in this read!!!
This is my first read of an N. Tetterton book. Zane's parents were murdered and while still trying to grasp that, Tatum comes barreling into his life. Although they weren't technically together and neither MC minded, I wasn't a fan of both of them sleeping with other people throughout the time between Zane and Tatum meeting up. Their relationship was complicated, when Tatum was suddenly engaged to another man, Zane knew something wasn't right. This was an insta-lust book with both MCs terrified of being in a relationship. I was originally going to give it 3.5 stars but I rounded it up because I know that the MCs sleeping with others was their choice. It's well written and I enjoyed it, even though it ends on a cliffhanger.
Not only am I constantly absolutely torn with the angst, but the spice scenes are SO GOOD! Z is the perfect book boyfriend, and the way he hates everyone except Tatum - and is so protective over her - is everything. I loved it, even if I was rooting for them to realize they loved each other before they knew.
Their story isn't perfect. It's filled with trial and error, and hopes that were broken, and relationships that get rebuilt even stronger. But I loved every minute of it.
I also really enjoy that this series is the next generation of Midnight Syn! It was so fun to see how all the characters are similar and different than their parents. I can't wait for the next book!
Following the Midnight Sun series, Kiss the sky is the next installment.
There is nothing Zane wants for, because his parents make sure he doesn't need anything. Up until the moment of their death.
Zane decides to follow in the footsteps of his father.
Zane and Tatum are brought together under bizarre circumstances. The chemistry and tension are evident from the outset. Nevertheless, they vow not to fall in love with each other.
Years after years they coincidentally bump into each other despite other factors trying to keep them apart…
Lots of grammatical errors, spelling mistakes and words that don’t make sense so as the reader you’re left to guess what the author meant to say- all easily fixed with a decent editor. The plot was very intriguing and despite the grammatical mistakes kept me reading. I struggled with understanding the MFC as she made so many poor decisions and ultimately allowed herself to be put in a terrible position that could have easily been avoided, making the entire situation feel contrived and unnecessary. This made me lose a lot of interest and rate at a 3 star. Interesting plot, not well executed.

I had a hard time getting into it at first but slowly became interested in the story. I wasn’t in love with the characters the development felt a little rushed but I liked them either way. It was a really good book despite that. I enjoyed the story line and spice and the over all personality of the characters especially Zane. This was my first book by this author and I will for sure look into more.
I could not put this down. Second Gen Kiddos of my favourite series Midnight Syn killed it. Tatum is addictive, her fire and vulnerability hooked me in hard. I laughed, cried and got through batteries with Kiss the Sky. Nic gimmie book 2 please. Like now! 😉
This is Zane & Tatum's story! His parents are gone & he's taking over the MC. He & Tatum spend time apart, the road is pretty bumpy & this takes place over 7 years on the way to their HEA. The spice is so awesome & I loved this book! MC's are my favorite! Highly recommend this book & this author!
The story is there, and I like it. The writing though is what got me. It felt really rushed, and I didnt feel any connection to the characters. I also see why theres a few time jumps, however it was a bit much causing me to lose focus.
A hot biker dark romance, Zane and Tatum the chemistry between those two 🔥 Loved this book, Sons of Anarchy vibes and plenty of spice. Can't wait to read more from N. Tetterton.
