Champ, a search and rescue dog, is on a routine school visit with his master when a tornado strikes and destroys part of the building. Can this extraordinary dog help find a boy who is lost in the wreckage?
Loved this! I read this with my youngest granddaughter! She read it aloud with my assistance. She's learning to read and he comfortable reading. Especially out loud to others. You see, she's dyslexic and her teachers have been working on a "training your brain" to (I guess) how to retranspose( is this a word😁 ) the letters ..... Again, loved the story. We also did one other The Man Who Couldn't Tell The Truth...couldn't find it here in Goodreads so if you can find a copy, get it and read with your third grader!! ( reminded me of Jim Carey in Liar, Liar!!😄) Again, liked the books and definitely enjoyed my one on one time with my grand baby girl!! --P/
My son and I read this book together. Told from the service dog's point of view, children can learn about the important work that these amazing animals do. The illustrations are beautiful!
