I'm not going to lie. Romance tends not to be the genre I gravitate toward, but picking up this book may have changed that. Well, for the next books in this series anyway.
While the story begins in L.A. it really only serves as a juxtaposition for Greyson Atwood's character. I got to see the Greyson the public sees and roll my eyes at some of the more shallow parts of the life he has chosen. It's easy to see him as shallow until he starts thinking about his hometown of Amber Falls, MA. Even just the thought of his hometown shows a softening that the "public" would not get to see.
I love how much I got to see of the female lead, Prudence Hardwick. Her upbeat, but hardworking personality endeared her to me immediately. She is a calming force and a fierce friend. She has a bad habit, though, of taking things at face value. I got a slight sense of past self esteem issues she may have had without having to "see" it. She doesn't need to be saved from anything, she has her own life, her own goals, she is more than just a lusty woman who needs a guy.
The side characters are all incredibly entertaining and will definitely further the plot along in the future books of this series. I can clearly see this will be a multi trope series and am excited to see how the authors take on these different writing styles.
Growing up near small towns all my life, Amber Falls could be any small town in the U.S. All I can say is I think I can see why Amber Falls is in the East Coast, but don't want to go any further as it may create spoilers. Amber Falls, itself, is it's own character. The way the authors describe the town it feels more like an old friend than just a setting for a story.

This book hooked me from the start, I’m a sucker for a small town romance, and this one was set in Western Massachusetts which is where I am from. Also having a red head as the lead made the read even sweeter. I found myself trying to read as often as I could to find out what happened next. I can’t wait to keep reading the series, I’m a fan for life!

If you are a fan of friends to lovers, do not pass up the chance to read this book. It hit me right in the feels. Yours, Always follows high school friends Greyson and Prudence. They've been secretly in love with each other for years, but life separated them. In LA, Greyson is an actor in high demand. Meanwhile in Amber Falls, Prudence is living the small town life with her two best friends. When Grey is burnt out from the Hollywood life, he goes home and that is where the fun begins. No longer able to deny their feelings, it doesn't take long for Pru and Grey to fall into each other. Their chemistry was so much fun. I loved watching them laugh and bicker, watching them interact with the crazy small town life. And let me tell you, the background characters added so much fun to the story. I cannot wait for their stories. I want to spend more time in Amber Falls.

This is not the normal genre I would read, however, I needed something light-hearted in between the dark fantasies that were on my list. I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It was a quick and easy read and I was able to connect with the characters like they might have been some of my own friends. There was a good amount of humor and snarkiness which I appreciated. If there are more books in the series, I would definitely like to read more about Annabelle and Sebastian.

Amazing book! Couldn’t get enough of the MMC, definitely book boyfriend material!
Tropes include: small town romance, friends to lovers, mmc is a Hollywood star, FMC is a lady boss of her own company! Yes queen!!
The smut is smutting in this one but not so much that you’d have to read it sneakily and give your best poker face but it still hits that little smut queen that lives inside my heart! Make sure you read this book and all the ones afterwards I have a feeling the following MMCs are going to just as top tier!!

Friends to lovers 💕 Always tugs at my heart. I fell in love with both characters, and the side characters made me fall in love with the small town too!

Grayson and Prudence and a small town romance. This book sucks you in and makes you want to read more. Its a mixture of real life, fairy tale endings, and a promise of more to come!

While the writing style isn’t something I’m use too. I quickly fell in love with Prudence and Greyson. The two have been best friends since kindergarten. Greyson gets his big break and leaves the small town. Pru stays behind to start her own business. I laughed so hard at mom’s night out with the wine. The puns in this book are comical. Every girl says no at first 🤣 Read it you won’t be disappointed!
