Read Only Memory is set in Washington D.C. during the peak of the 1990s multimedia CD-ROM industry. It is a fictionalized history of the period as seen through the eyes of a contemporary chronicler, Harvey Stubblefield, who, in his desire to capture the entirety of the era and its creations before its epochal termination, finds himself enmeshed in conspiracy when he encounters the elusive and obscure game, The Heavy Burden.

The little snippets of conversation in the bar, the fascination with obsolete software, all so immersive and really feels like a world of it's own. The fact Jordan wrote it is just icing on the cake.

So proud of my boy for writing something so fully realized and creative, I can't wait for the next one. This made me want to reinstall ScummVM and play some old adventure games.
