کتاب خوبی نبود. انقدر سرعت تحولات AI زیاد هست که کتاب نمی‌تونه خودش رو به تحولات برسونه.
البته شرح نویسنده از بنیان‌های نظری هوش‌مصنوعی و اهمیت دونستن منطق رفتاری مدل‌های هوش مصنوعی و مشخصا LLMها برای استفاده هوشمندانه خوب بود. البته تو همین فقره (بیان شهودی و غیرتکنیکی بنیان نظری AI کتاب‌ها و منابع بهتری از این کتاب می‌شه یافت).
نکته‌های کلی و اساسی کتاب در مهندسی دستور/Prompt engineering همچنان با تغییرات مدل‌های زبانی کار می‌کند اما خوندن این کتاب اگر کتاب رو تورقی و نکته‌ای (به قولی اگه کتاب scan و skim کنید) کتاب خوبی است. و الا خوندن راهنماهای موجود تو سایت‌ها یا اخبار AI یا یه ویدئوی رندوم پربازدید توی یوتیوب کفایت می‌کنه.

بجز این‌ها، بجای کتاب خوندن، بهتره توی پروژه و پیام‌های رفت و برگشتی متمادی با خود مدل می‌شه به رفتار بهینه و درست رسید. یعنی یه کلیاتی رو بدونی و بعدش دیگه خودت بسنجی موقعیت رو و حساس باشی که می‌شه با پرامپت/دستور هوشمندانه خروجی خیییلی بهتری از مدل گرفت. در صورت کلی، باید دانش زمینه‌ایِ قابل توجهی داشته باشید در برخورد با AIها. حالا اینجا بحث‌هایی هست که خارج از این کتابه.

البته بخش مربوط به مدل‌های تولید تصویر برای من بیشتر آورده داشت. چیزهایی رو تونستم از کتاب بر دارم.

زیادی مطول بود کتاب. دیگه انقدر حال نداریم کتاب بخونیم دیگه :)

Horrible book with an excessive number of pages and words with more or less zero new knowledge about prompt engineering. After a while I realized the text felt AI-generated. Now when I read an article about the increase of certain words in academic papers such as delve, realm, pivotal etc, I checked this book and found floods of them in it. I let an AI-detector check some samples from the book and it said 100% of text is AI-generated. Nowhere in the book can Ifind any comment from the author that any of the content is AI-generated. Feels like a scam, I regret buying it, but it was mentioned as the course literature in my university course.

I cannot help but agree with another reviewer who described this book as "horrible," an apt adjective that, in the context of literature, is reserved for works that are abominably useless.

I was persuaded to purchase the book owing to the flattering reviews at the beginning and the subtitle on the front cover.

There were no tips or tricks for any of the topics mentioned in the book.

I was informed that Wiley is a reputable academic publisher; however, before I could become acquainted with its works, this book has extinguished any inclination to explore the publication further.

I would advise against purchasing this book. It is not worth the time spent reading it.
