Heartwarming Christmas stories, favorite carols, and absolutely stunning artwork. Many of the paintings were from the Renaissance. After I read this book, I passed it on to my daughter who had served as a missionary in Italy and would appreciate the Italian paintings!

It's amazing to think that at one time, it was illegal to celebrate Christmas. That is the one thing I learned from this book that will forever be in my head. Beautiful story, songs, etc. Recommend that if you ever find this book, buy it, you won't regret it.

Classic compilation. Varied artists. Nice addition to the Christmas library.
