A native of Duluth, Georgia, and a convert to Catholicism, she spent five years discerning a vocation to the religious life in a convent. Upon leaving, she met and married Michael Hall and now resides in Ballwin, Missouri, with their beloved cat, Momma. Her experiences as a Passionist nun led to the publication of Passion Flowers in Bloom, a collection of devotional poetry and art composed during her time in the convent. In addition, she wrote An Aunt's Animal Alphabet, a colorfully creative children's book featuring her charming hand-drawn illustrations and whimsical rhymes.

Qotd: Are you ready to explore the world of animals?
If so, then get your hands on Hailey's book "An Aunt's Animal Alphabet". This book is full of pretty illustrations that are eye-catching. Parents could use this book to teach the alphabet to their younger kids and animal names to their elder one. I have 2 kids of ages 2 and 5 years so I used this book for my double benefit.
A giraffe is an animal with a long neck and brown spots on its body. Owls aren't fond of light. They stay up all night. I loved the way the author has written poems about each animal and has included rhyming words.
This book could be used in another exciting way. Parents could read the poem to their kids and ask them to guess the animal name. I enjoyed doing this activity with my older kid. I must say that it is the most creative children's book that I have seen. Hailey has great potential and she can reach greater heights as an author with more books by her.

I love reading Children's books because the colorful illustrations lift up my mood. In this book, the author has included various animals from A to Z. Parents could read this book along with kids. I am an adult but there were many things that I learned from this book about different animals. So, it is an insightful read for readers of all ages.
The way the cover photo of the book is designed is brilliant. I highly appreciate the creativity of the author in this book. The illustrations of the animals are done so well. It feels as if I was looking at the real animals while reading this book.
Through this book, the author encourages readers to do the art. It's a fun filled book. The pages of the book look as if they have been colored using crayons or pencil colors. For future books, I have one suggestion that the author could include a few coloring pages too or a small photo for coloring on each page making it a more engaging read. Overall, I loved every bit of this book.

This book has stunning hand-drawn illustrations of animal names. There are catchy nursery rhymes too. By reading these rhymes, kids can learn the rhyming words.
He might be bright teal
because he's just not real!
He looks like a horse,
but he's not, of course.
It's of magic he's made,
he doesn't live in a glade.
Teal-real, horse-course, made-glade, etc are some of the rhyming words that I picked from the Unicorn. The beautiful illustrations will help kids to have a picture in their mind of how each animal looks.
The creatively drawn letter resembling the animal it represents is my favorite part of the book. This book has everything that makes it a five star read. I am highly interested in reading more books by the author in the near future.
I recommend parents to buy a paperback copy of this book for their kids.

"An Aunt's Animal Alphabet" is a lovely picture book in which the author has expressed her creativity to the fullest. I read this book with the kids in my house.
We came across many animals. We were happy to meet some of the animals below.
1 Jaguar - he has sharp teeth.
2 Mouse - who likes to eat cheese.
3 Owl - who's up all night and is not fond of light.
4 Yak - a big and hairy animal.
Interesting facts about different animals piqued my interest in this book. I also recommended this book to my sister for my nephews. The illustrations are pretty and made me enjoy this book with the kids. If you want your child to know about the animals of the animal kingdom then this is the perfect book. Go with it without any second thoughts. The author has won my heart with her brilliant work in this book.
I will surely keep an eye on her future work too.

This book has alphabets from a to z. Some alphabets are written in Capital letters and some start with small letters. Using each alphabet, the author introduces one animal to the readers. Even, I wasn't aware of the few animals so I learned new animals by reading this book.

'An Aunt's Animal Alphabet' written and illustrated by the author Hailey Kathleen Hall is an interesting Children's book. This book makes the readers aware about the different animals in the world.
Kids will get to know what different animals do and how their nature is. Ant is a hard working animal who stays busy collecting food to feed the brood. Bluebird has bright blue wings and a yellow beak.
I appreciate the creativity with which the alphabets are drawn to resemble the animal. Parents should definitely add this book to their children's bookshelf. Kids would be delighted to read this book.

I love this darling book. I would just add one more "a" to the title and call it "an aunt's adorable animal alphabet. The colored-pencil drawings are beautiful, and the poetry is whimsical with just the right touch of humor. I look forward to reading this book to my grandchildren and to future offerings by Hailey Hall.
