Sexual dysfunction in women range from 19% to 50% for 'normal' women and with a dramatic increase in reported dysfunction postpartum and among menopausal and postmenopausal women. Among men, according to a recent survey, 52% over the age of 40 reported some degree of erectile failure which represents by far the most common problem of patients seeking medical help for sexual dysfunction. Unlike other treatment programs in this series, this treatment is self-paced and allows for interruptions in scheduled sessions.
