This book was so much more than I expected. Had I read the goodreads description and not just the amazon description, I may have been prepared, but instead I was pleasantly surprised. The book lays out the whys and hows of performance tasks for half of it. The other half is sample tasks, rubrics, and sample student work. I loved the beginning. I didn't find any tasks that I thought I could use as is, but I'm going to pass this along to my colleagues because they might be able to use some of them.
