Reprinted in 2022 with the help of original edition published long back 1919. As this book is reprinted from a very old book, there could be some missing or flawed pages. Born Mary Clarissa Gillington but writing as May Byron and using MC Gillington and Maurice Clare as pseudonyms, she wrote over 100 books of poetry, biography plus a number of cook books.

She married George Frederick Byron and the couple had two sons.

Her most well-known works were in the series Days with Great Writers and Days with Great Composers - most of which, if not all - were written under the May Byron name. Her and her sister also had a book of poems published and she also had a great number of poems published in newspapers and magazines.
