Peter Milligan is a British writer, best known for his work on X-Force / X-Statix, the X-Men, & the Vertigo series Human Target. He is also a scriptwriter.
He has been writing comics for some time and he has somewhat of a reputation for writing material that is highly outlandish, bizarre and/or absurd.
His highest profile projects to date include a run on X-Men, and his X-Force revamp that relaunched as X-Statix.
Many of Milligan's best works have been from DC Vertigo. These include: The Extremist (4 issues with artist Ted McKeever) The Minx (8 issues with artist Sean Phillips) Face (Prestige one-shot with artist Duncan Fegredo) The Eaters (Prestige one-shot with artist Dean Ormston) Vertigo Pop London (4 issues with artist Philip Bond) Enigma (8 issues with artist Duncan Fegredo) and Girl (3 issues with artist Duncan Fegredo).
that was actually quite a good finish 3.5/5 the pencils where one of the best really but the writing was terrible and here is why first of all the team new origins where not clearly displayed for the reader so most who read this and never read the original series would be in the dark and don't know what the hell is going on apparently there was a first team the one whose all members committed suicide except their leader rac shade who easily wins the no prize for worst leader in comics history whatever he does next really he is the worst then there is the new team of which many members had died during the new limited series thanks to rac shade stupidity even if he was under some spell by the enchantress this guy caused the death of most of his team members and there is no redemption for him even if he takes out the enchantress so well done boy on a terrible job. and all of this were not clearly said in the limited series i had to search to find out that there was an old team when the writer said something about a first team for the first time during the 3rd issue i mean come on..... second of all rac shade overreacted when he animated the dead body of amethyst. a lot of things didn't feel right but the best thing is the ending and the best character is the enchantress she is a very good villain even so its stupid of her to not ask for her reward immediately from the amazons which is another flaw in the writing and the creation of this almost epic character.
