I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is book ten of the Oak Harbor series and three years ago Nikki (Nicole) Hamilton, was on her way to a modelling audition with her best friend Nikki, when they were involved in a car crash which claimed Sam’s life and left Nikki scarred both externally and internally. She blamed herself for the crash and has lived in a fog of depression and grief ever since, not believing she should enjoy life. She has made life very difficult for her parents who have tried to pull her out of her depression, until it comes to an ultimatum, get a job or move out! She lashes out even to her friends and extended family, who are only trying to be helpful. She manages to get a job in a small fashion boutique and finds her love of fashion and sense of what looks good on women, really helpful. She meets a fireman called Johnathan, who she helps find a gift for his mother, but when he asks for her number, she tells him she isn’t interested, even to be just friends. Alongside this storyline, is one involving Cora, who is about to be married to a lovely man called Jamie, who has a grown up daughter Lily, who Cora is trying to get to know. Lily’s mother died and she is trying not to step into Lily’s mother’s footsteps, but mentioning Lily’s boyfriend keeps them back to the beginning of being friendly towards each other. Something is wrong with Lily’s relationship, but she isn’t ready to share that with anyone just yet.
One of Cora’s daughters, Jules, is staying with her, with her baby daughter Becca, and she is struggling with missing her husband Noah, who is in the military and away on deployment overseas. Every time her phone rings, she worries it will be bad news about Noah and isn’t coping well, especially when Becca keeps her awake all night with colic or teething. The story shows the hardships and problems all of the extended family have, including cousins who run an inn in the coastal town of Oak Harbor and are suffering from a downturn in business. Those family bonds are never stronger than when they come together to help each other, through struggles and triumphs. New additions are welcome and quickly become part of this extended family. Wedding plans are continuing, Nikki is undergoing therapy, new relationships are forming, but there is also real life worrying situations to contend with. Nikki has the love of her new partner but must stop pushing away all those who are trying to help her and stop burning her bridges at every opportunity. Realistic storytelling, with multiple POV’s as each character has their own issues to deal with and try to help others, mostly. Glad to see Nikki finally believing in herself a bit more and taking the chance she is offered, even if it is away from all those love and the place she calls home. Situations good and bad showing you how to recover from them and see yourself out to the other side. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I Have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
Nikki and her best friend both had dreams of becoming models and on their way to a possible break, they are in a horrific accident. Nikki's best friend was killed and she suffered survivor's guilt that kept her from functioning in her day to day life. She moved back home and lived with her parents. She spent most of her time either angry with the world for not understanding how she felt or in tears over the loss of her friend. When her parents finally tell her that it's time for her to move out of their home and start her life, she is angry that they are so uncaring so she leaves in anger. Will she be able to find happiness and maybe love when she begins to live again?
Cora is busy planning her wedding when her daughter's husband disappears in battle. Will Cora be able to find happiness amidst all of the sorrow in her family?
It was wonderful to go back to Oak Harbor and become part of the lives of the Hamilton family. This story showed their struggles, their successes and most importantly, their love for each other as they all face life head on. This book is shown to be the final book of the series but I can only hope that the author will take us back to Oak Harbor in the future.
This is the last book in the wonderful Oak Harbor series.
Coming Full Circle focuses on Nikki. It was alluded to in previous books that there was something that changed her life drastically. After learning that 3 years ago, she was in a tragic car accident, her life has changed. She is struggling to move on from the events of that day. It is a little difficult to "tolerate" some of the behavior and way she treats people (as a reader). However, readers will see that maybe some healing happens for Nikki and her life takes a new course.
Cora is in the midst of planning her wedding. She is also trying to strengthen the relationship with her stepdaughter and feeling like she's failing. She will never replace the girl's mom, but wants her to know that she is always there. After learning a secret and promising to keep it, Cora feels torn. Is her wedding in jeopardy?
The Hamilton family has felt like such a friend and neighbor in this series and I am sad to see it end. Curious and very anxious for what is next for Kimberly Thomas though!
Highly recommend this series to anyone looking for such sweet, charming town with a family that has lots of love :)
I have enjoyed this whole series but I just couldn't get into this book. Maybe it was the totally self-centered main character or something. I didn't get past 5%,

Several different story lines intersect in this book. Nikki was devastated after a car accident took the life of her friend Samantha. Feeling like she is at fault, Nikki faces depression and an inability to move on. Her cousin Diana tries to redirect Nikki several times. Then enter the handsome Jonathan, determined to makes friends with Nikki. Will Nikki be able To overcome her internal and external scars to Pursue a modeling career?
Cora is looking forward to her marriage to Jamie. Family dynamo are problematic as Cora has trouble bonding with Jamie’s daughter Lily. Meanwhile, Cora’s daughter Jules is devastated to learn her fiancé Noah is MIA.
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion
..even though the series isn't done. I have really enjoyed reading these books, although I have found several clerical errors in them. This book has likely held the most. I love the romances and the cleanness of them. I have grown weary of repeated "Sweetie" when speaking directly to someone, and the continual " We will be here for you" come to grow old and stale quickly. Having said all that, the books get a solid five stars for content and quality. The author clearly is gifted in her craft. Thanks for a great goodread!
This was a tough book to read - Nikki’s going through a lot of ups and downs likely related to PTSD from the car accident with her best friend. Seeing her anger and sadness was devastating but also watching her realize it’s ok to be happy and move forward was wonderful. I loved seeing her story and seeing her start a relationship was so great! Can’t wait to see where the rest of the characters end up.
This is a beautifully written, emotional and heartwarming story. I was captivated from the first page and couldn't put it down until I finished it. I love everything about the Oak Harbor series so I knew I would love this book. Highly recommend reading this. I'm looking forward to reading more from Kimberly Thomas.

Overall I enjoyed this book about a young woman scarred both physically and emotionally from a car accident in which her best friend was killed. The story was good about her finally accepting the trauma. Besides the bad editing with wrong words used, grammar errors, etc there were places in the book where there was a jump in time from one paragraph to the next. This was confusing.
Absolutely loved this book. Nikki's life was destroyed after a tragedy now three years later she's having trouble moving on but when Jonathan comes into her life he makes her beautiful and loved. Can she finally let go of the past to live for the future?.

Kimberly sure gave us a tearjerker with this one. Nikki’s world was shattered for three years after a tragedy. Getting through that grief and guilt nearly destroyed her relationships. However, Johnathan entered the picture and was very persistent in his pursuit of a relationship. Through love and patience he provided support for Nikki to heal. As Cora prepared for her wedding, Jules struggled with the disappearance of Noah. Family love and support always makes the journey tolerable.
This one has drama and will pull your heart strings. Two friends wanting to be models end up in an accident that kills one. Nikki the survivor suffers guilt for her friends death. Can her family pull her out of it? Loved the characters.

I loved the plot of this story and it continued from the previous books in the series. At times it was hard to follow because it would jump from 1 scene to another without warning. There were a number of errors such as the wrong names which also made confusing and hard to follow.
4⭐️{Kindle} Went down the rabbit hole with this series. Enjoyed it! BK10 in a 10 book series. Free with KU. These are shorter books in a story continuation {180-200pgs each} based on a coastal scene of Oak Harbor. The series is hallmark like with heartwarming cast of characters. Loss, love, friendship and family. Quaint, sweet and quick reads. You’ll be vested in the Hamilton family.

Nikki wants to be a model more than anything. It was also her best friends dream too but that had all changed three years ago. There’s a lot of emotions going on in this book. It was happy but kinda sad too.it’s another good book in this series. Thanks to the author for the early copy
A beautifully written story that pulls at your heartstrings and keeps you turning the pages. An emotional read but it's completely worth all the emotions you'll feel.

However, someone really needed to proofread the Kindle version of this book. Hopefully the printed version of this book did not contain the numerous mistakes that this Kindle version contains.
All 10 books in this series by Kimberly Thomas are amazing.
Going through a family of sisters, cousins, nieces and parents to portray how life changes is amazing. Add in generations of young to old and throw in intrigue, love and romance and this is a perfect series.
This is a wonderful story by a wonderful author. This set of books cannot be beat. I finished the last book and this one today. Wonderful set of books from the beginning to the end.
Nikki can be very distressing to be around. But after knowing about all she is dealing with you can show her grace. This is a very interesting and enjoyable story to read. Good last book for this series.
The transitions from scene to scene are not happening. I don't recall that so much in the earlier books in the series. Is someone else doing the writing or do you just not care?
I liked the other 9 in this series but book 10 seemed to be like a rush job. There were quite a few things in the final pages that did not make sense and were confusing to follow. It just kind of “ended” - you turned the page and it was done. No closure in my opinion.
Tired of misspellings in this series and this one just felt like she rushed thru the stories. The series started off good but last five books have been lacking.
