Much like a TARDIS this little Detroit house is much bigger on the inside!

I really liked this take on time travel and parallel dimensions. Often stories focus on the different realities themselves or the changes made to one timeline. In the Bootstrap paradox, Joe Orange gives us a look into what the inner mechanisms of reality could look like. If you've ever wondered what would happen if you were to open the hood on reality and see the engine, this is the tale for you.
I will say, it leaves you wanting more and in a state of wonder. I'm dying to know where this house came from, what the "bug" in reality could be. Until we get a sequel, I'll be sitting here pleasantly puzzled.

A man and his friend are cleaning an old house and discover a portal to another workd or dimension or time and struggle to return home
Strange gravity and time and distance anomalies appear, including other versions of himself
He finally makes it home and he and his wife discover a safe with millions of dollars in it, left by himself many years before. A really strange tale but very good

I could have done without the Lovecraft part in the middle.

Lovecraft never seemed interesting or convincing to me.
But the rest of the story is very well crafted. And the Main Character, Fredrick, is charming, I would like to get to know him better.
