This is an annotated edition of Strabo's monumental work on geography, in which he describes the various regions of the world as known to the ancient Greeks and Romans. This edition includes both the original Greek text and a Latin translation, as well as extensive notes by the editor, Thomas Falconer. The Chrestomathiae at the end of the volume are linguistic exercises intended to help students improve their Greek.
