I've struggled with OCD for my life, and when I have moments of my OCD kicking in more than usual, I always retort to learning more about the different subsets of it and realize that other people are out there who are like me, I'm unique in my own way though there are others who struggle with their own battles of OCD.
And I found out this year that relationship OCD exists, and I've learned the compulsive patterns that a partner can go through when it comes to their romantic relationships. Not only did reading this and other outside material helped me realize what were compulsions in my history of dating and in the current moment, it helped me to understand, truthfully, that I am not alone. ♡
I was surprised at the thoughtfulness and value of the information in this book. It was not repetitive, however it also wasn't extremely engaging. I'm glad it was a short read, or it might not have held my attention.
This book was helpful for point out things that I have been feeling but didn’t know how to explain. It also provides tools and ideas on how to overcome R-OCD. I’m grateful for this book.
