I really didn't agree with the introduction of this book when I first read it. This guy was banging on about how great pivot tables were and I just didn't buy it given I had not thought much of them as a feature in the little experience I had had with them. By halfway through the book I had spun 180 degrees and was a convert to the pivot table cause.
In fact now I think maybe he played down a little how great pivot tables were in the introduction.
