I'm a Little Caterpillar

What do you get when you combine a comical, endearing story with a lovable, lifelike, latex finger puppet? A fun-filled reading experience that provides hours of creative entertainment!

Caterpillar is perplexed. What will he be when he "grows up?" Perhaps a loud, hairy lion? Or a huge, scaly dinosaur? Simple text accompanies bright, eye-catching artwork in this funny story in which Caterpillar discovers what he's meant to be.

A latex finger puppet of a caterpillar pokes through a die-cut hole on every spread, including covers, ready to help little ones act out the story.

I've probably read this one hundreds, if not a thousand times, between our own children and a grandchild. It has a finger puppet to use while reading it, which captures kids' attention. I also use a squeaky voice for the child-character voice of the caterpillar.

Unfortunately, this book isn't published anymore.

The only caution I have with it is that children under three shouldn't be left unattended with it. Especially now that the book has aged, the puppet rubber might crack or tear and create a choke hazard, but even originally, this book was not intended for children under 3.

A cute story about a little caterpillar talking about what it'll be when it grows up. A finger puppet pops up through every page. Fun to read to small children (as long as they aren't scared of the caterpillar!).

My little boy loves the animation of the finger puppet. There is also a lot of opportunity for animal sound effects, too.

The story talks about different animals. The caterpillar wants to be these animals, but the caterpillar cannot be thee animals. Finally the caterpillar wants to be a butterfly and realizes it can be a butterfly.
