There’s nothing nerdy about this sexy man, and it turns out my attraction to him is mutual. As the tension between us grows, our chemistry is hard to resist.

This short novel makes you want to go on a holiday. The description of Belize, the living conditions and the sights -sigh- take me there please.
But that put aside the blooming love story between Monique and Kevin is for the lovers of the art of falling in love.
Monique and Kevin have known each other since birth but haven’t seen each since graduating high school ten years ago.
Monique lives and works in Paris, Kevin in Seattle. A main obstacle for them being more than a fling while at vacation.
Through managing keeping that thing between them a secret before the parents and siblings and avoiding to fall in love, their time passes fast.
And when that time comes nothing goes like both wanted it to. Can and will they make that fling stay a fling or are they supposed to be more than that.
The characters of Monique and Kevin are really well written. Real and comprehensible. Nice and down to earth. I liked them very much. Enjoyed that little love story.

Love this! Brand new author to me and was super nervous since I’ve had a few issues lately but wow, blown away! It was exactly what I was hoping for and more!

I love the friends to lovers and I’m always giddy to read them because you hope and hope for that moment! The build up was perfect for Monique and Kevin! The little shared moments and sweet glances since they were in secret but I also worried for so many reasons! They live so far apart and my heart broke so hard towards the end! It broke even more at the very end when I learned of what happened! I sat reading and I needed to life today but I HAD to see what would become of all of it!!

I love how Monique is such a powerful woman and has her life in Paris! It sounds like she’s truly living and doesn’t realize the loneliness until Belize. I love all of the adventures the family went on and took us on a mini vacation! Such a good read!

My first read from this author and what a great read it was! The female character Monique and her family went on a holiday vacation to Belize and so did her parents friends which meant Kevin and Kyle was also going to be there. She grew up with the boys but haven’t seen them in over a decade. The first time that Kevin saw Monique he fell for her again and thanks to a simple game of truth or dare, things changed for them both.

An HEA and I might have cried at certain parts of this book 🫶

Belize Bliss is a fun vacation romance. I always like when the couple thinks they're gonna have a little fling and go on with their lives because, of course, things rarely work out that way, especially in romance fiction. Monique and Kevin are easy to root for, and they have good chemistry. The story is a quick read that's just right for an afternoon by the pool or on the beach. I'm really enjoying this series of standalones that are great for a bit of escapism after a hectic week.

This was such a cute faction story . I love seeing all the backstory and characters. The third act bothered me though it felt like a plot divide and out of character for the couple. It's a cute short read over all and fits the series as a whole really well so if you liked the. beached in Bali this one's for you.

They were so perfect for each other, I wouldn't consider this story as a fast pace one though they connection was instant. A easy to follow story and really enjoyable."

This was a cute quick read. Monique and Kevin slowly begin see that there could be more than friendship after not being in each other’s life for so long. Things come to a head when their vacation ends and they would have to navigate the next step i their relationship.

I met the author at the Hot and Steamy event in Portland Oregon in June of 2024 and this was my first read from them.
I thought it was such a cute read. I was rooting for Kevin and Monique. Just a fun quick childhood friends to lovers, read. I can't wait to read more.

C L Collier is an author who is new to me, but I quite enjoyed this novella, Belize Bliss. I will look for more work by this author in the future.

What wonderful things can happen when you vacation in the sun! Monique and Kevin are childhood friends who have not seen each other in many years until their families decide to vacation together.
They have an amazing chemistry, especially after not seeing each other in ten years.

Belize Bliss by @authorclcollier tells the friends-to-lovers story of Monique and Kevin, two childhood friends that were brought together on a Thanksgiving trip to Belize by both sets of their parents. Kevin and Monique are the only single ones on the trip, so they spend most of the trip alone together and end up reconnecting in a way that neither one of them expect. However, there is one giant obstacle that Monique and Kevin must overcome at the end of their Thanksgiving trip in Belize: Monique lives in France and Kevin lives in Oregon where he cannot see himself ever giving up.

This book of the Vagabond series was a very easy ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ read for me! The characters are extremely likeable and well written, I adored their friends to lovers trope, and they had an extremely cute date in a bowling alley that reminded me very much of when my husband and I went bowling together for the first time. (I was the bowling captain of the high school team and stomp him with a win every game against my husband whenever we go, but that's neither here nor there...) I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick, beach read with a wonderful example of friends to lovers that pays off in the end for everyone!
