This slim book includes 55 full color plates and provides a useful introduction to seven leading master painters of the Northern Renaissance (van Eyck, van der Weyden, Petrus Christus, Memling, van der Goes, Bosch and Bruegel the Elder). Each painting is accompanied by a short description explaining where the work is located and a few key points to understanding its meaning. It's an affordable book, and if you enjoy the colorful illustrations it will lead you to studying some or all of the painters in greater detail.

Colorful, pensive, religious meaning very interesting to watch and think, and some just part of paintings. It will be full five stars if having some short descriptions and timeline of them as well as full paintings and then some enlarged parts not like now some full and some enlarged parts but not able to see the whole one.
