This book is a waste of your money and a waste of your time. Do a Google search for pick-me-ups and you’ll find better results.
Some of the suggestions listed in this book are comically bad, stupid, risky, and dangerous. The idea that if you do things one way then you should try them a different way is not just bad advice, but borderline toxic. Suggesting that a churchgoer attend a witch coven? Wow. That’s messed up.
There are also a few outdated ways of doing things. Tapes, cds and dvds are in the past. Those references age the book in a bad way.
To quote the introduction of this book: “You don’t have to read this book if you don’t feel like it.” Do yourself a favor and let that be the only advice from the book that you do follow.
